Big Baby Q and Smokehouse was crafted from the minds of local chef, Ben Welch and his father, a celebrated artist from Chicago area, Bennie Welch. The result is a company motivated to bring St. Louis an elevated experience of great hospitality, Memphis-style dry rubbed meats, southern inspired sides and desserts and full flavored sauces always made from scratch.
The team at Big Baby Q and Smokehouse has spent countless hours researching and developing recipes that complement our mission of bringing the biggest flavors and the most tender and juicy meats to St. Louis County. As with any great Q establishment, it is indeed our intention to run out of smoked offerings daily, to provide the freshest experience for our guests.
